I have decided to move my blog as tumbler photo quality is so poor. Please keep reading. Just use this new address.
Woahhh Tumbler has bad upload quality. I can promise you my photos are a lot better than they look. I think I will have to set up a Flickr account to link to this blog!
MONTAGE
I have had a very busy past couple of weeks, hence why I haven’t written anything in a while. I am now going to write a list (I like lists!) in chronological order (starting from Friday 12th Feb) to let you know what I have been up to:
Fri
- After work beer at Ironside (bar/restaurant/cafe next to work) to celebrate the start of the long weekend.
-Go to a gig at The Bottom of the Hill on Potrero hill with my Irish friend Brian.
Sat
- Shop till I drop on Powell street and around union square. I managed to find a $5 dress at Macy’s! And I went to the Cheesecake factory (one piece took me 3 attempts to finish!).
- Paint my nails a lovely shade of pink.
-Go out for my birthday drinks at Brunos on Mission and somewhere called The Lone Palm (I’m not sure where it was)
-Walk home via a bakery giving out free wine and cupcakes, Yum!
- Put on the disco lights at the apartment and dance to Kate Bush with Ryan (roommate), Eloise (workmate) and Ben (workmate).
-Listen to R Kelly, Prince and more Kate Bush.
- Watch Buster Keaton film.
Sun
-Stay in Bed until 3pm.
-Go to the amazing Pillow Fight with Eloise.
-Go to diner for traditional American food, otherwise known as hangover supper!
-Meet up with Amelia, Erica, Ryan and a group of Ryan’s friends and go to Karaoke (I didn’t sing!)
Mon

- tidy bedroom and do Laundry.

http://www.curiosityshoppeonline.com/
-We went to meet Amelia and Tess (Amelia’s dog) in Delores Park.
-Get a Mani Pedi (bright blue!)
- Go for Thai with Ryan, Dylan (Ryan’s brother) and a couple of their friends.
Tue
- My birthday!!
- Go to work.
-Open some cards and presents
- Work on World Almanac 2nd Grade answer pages.

Wed
- Feel completely rubbish all day
- Am cheered up by another influx of presents from England, including Minstrels (cheers Jus!)
-Start grouping and reducing answer pages for the Almanac.
-Go home straight to bed after work.
Thurs
- The end to the Almanac is almost insight. I set about finishing it.
- I finish it at 8.30 pm yipee!!!!
- Sleep!
Friday
- Now the almanac is pretty much over I have more time to focus on more exciting projects.
-Go to design lab completely unprepared.
-Come away from design lab completely inspired.
-Spend the rest of the afternoon working on new book ideas (I will show you when they are actually mocked up).
- Go for Sushi and to see Shutter Island (watch it, it has an amazing twist) with Amelia in Japan town.
Sat
- Wake up really inspired and excited about new projects.

-Travel all the way to Hobby co on geary and 15th for more art supplies.
-Get home just in time for drawing party and pizza.

Sun
-Wake up and draw for a few hours.
-Head over to Berkley for supper with my parents friend Tom and his wife Elizabeth and daughter Jordan.
-Go on a tour of Berkley, but stay in the car as it’s raining.
-Eat like a queen - Roast chicken, garlic pasta, green beans and creme brulee (Tom is an amazing cook)
Mon
-Work on loads of different projects which was awesome.
- My main project today was The Present by Bob Gill, Its a nice little story about a boy called Arthur trying to guess what his birthday present is. It felt so nice to be designing again!
- Have the first Chronicle movie night of 2010, we watched The Beach on the big projector screen in the library and ate popcorn.
-Wrote blog…Oh hello, that’s now!
P.S. From now on I’m going to try and make this blog more photographic and work based as that is the whole reason I am in San Francisco.
P.P.S Please comment on here so I know people are reading it, or alternatively email me your thoughts at izzy@izzylangridge.com.
